A ceremony to commemorate Independence Movement Day and the victims of wartime sexual slavery under the Japanese military was held at a shelter for the victims of the ‘comfort women’ on February 25. 250 people, including Venerable Weonheang, the director of the shelter, the victims of the ‘comfort women’ and their family, Cho Jung-rae, the director of film ‘Spirits’ Homecoming, and students of Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages attended the ceremony and honored the victims.
