Over 200 first-year students from Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages visited Dokdo on the 25th as part of their domestic experiential learning program, “Pride of Korea.”
During the visit, students expressed their excitement and patriotic spirit, saying, “Shouting ‘Long live Korea, long live Dokdo!’ and finally setting foot on this island we’ve long wished to visit fills us with pride. We will continue to love and protect Dokdo.”

Arriving on Ulleungdo on the 23rd, the students explored the island’s renowned geological sites, including Bongnae Waterfall and Nari Basin. Guided by professional interpreters from the Ulleungdo Geopark, they learned about the island’s unique geological features and experienced its natural environment firsthand.
Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages plans to continue organizing annual visits to Ulleungdo and Dokdo for first-year students as part of its educational field programs.
