Special Features of the Academic Program

• balance of seven subject areas: Department of Moral Education, Department of English Language, Department of Korean Language, Department of Social Studies, Department of Science, Department of Language Majors(Japanese, Chinese)
• special research area for each subject: teachers are provided with an environment where they can devote their full attention to class preparation and student counseling.(For each subject area, there is an assistant available to aid the teachers)
• further classes and Gyeonggi Academy Peer Tutoring(GAPT): For each subject area, there are further classes run by teachers and GAPT run by upperclassman to aid students requiring further assistance
• Smart School; State-of-the-art Smart School system to assist and students in the education process through the use of web-based platform and IT apparatus.
• student-Teacher Interaction: Through active participation of both the students and teachers in debates and presentation, classes are rich in content and interaction.
• communication-focused foreign language education: Based on solid cooperation between the native-speaking teachers and regular Korean teachers, foreign language classes focus on language ability, practicality and understanding of culture.
