The goal of GAPT

Through peer teaching and learning, self-controlled learning abilities are improved, and positive exchanges can be made between seniors and juniors. This inspires a greater pride in GAFL, due to devotion between the students.

Detailed managing rules

• Free learning between students is recommended
  • applications are received through helpers posting The proposed plan
  • the learner may only enlist students of higher grade(s) as a helper
    (ex)learner 2nd grade - helper 3rd grade, leaner 1st grade - helper 2nd grade
    (But, study groups of classmates can be carried out freely)
• Generally, ASG 2 should be used, once every week.

  (But, in the case of unavoidable circumstances, students may use ASG 3 for self-initiative learning .)

  After choosing a desirable day of the week, each ASG period is taught 10 times.

• With the limitations of location and time, the maximum number of GAPT periods may be restricted, and the standards for restriction are decided based on the activity plan.
• Teaching activities can be done through the peer teaching program.
• Matching should include a minimum 3 people. [helper 1 + learner 2(or more)]
• For efficient management, learners are required to submit their results and a written evaluation.
• Helpers are given voluntary service hours.

  In case of deficiency, there may be exceptions.
  (whether or not there is deficiency will be judged based on the learner's opinion after the occurrence of item 10, by the teacher in charge.)

• Approval of voluntary services is limited to cases of over 10 times, over 10 hours.

  Voluntary service approval means the recording of the service times in the student's record file, by the teacher in charge.

• The helpers and learners are required to submit their results to the teacher in charge with their written evaluations, 4 days before the ending date, including the last day.

• A Team that has shown excellence may be awarded.

  Caution: in case of the following, one may be excluded from approval of service and sign-up in the next term, and even receive black marks : (※ black marks are given in disregard of the number of warnings)

  2 accumulated activities of straying from the original purpose of teaching, judged by a 3rd person.
  failing to submit the written impression
  3 absences of helping due to personal reasons(eg. being sick)
  2 warnings for not cleaning the GAPT held area after the activity

  • * managing helper system - sudden inspection of whether the teaching activity is being carried out, at the designated area

    (if students are not at their designated place, or are doing activities that seem to be off thetopic, the reported team is excluded from their service approval and sign up for the next term).
