School Service Center

School Service Center is in charge of student service (mail, parcel, laundry, cleaning, emergency patient), issuing a certificate, dormitory allocation, moving in/out to/from dormitory and administration (managing Dormitory Operating Committee, accident insurance for students and asset management of dormitory).

Ordering a certificate

  • In Person
    • Bring photo identification to pick up your certificate (certificate of graduation, transcript, certificate of enrollment, certificate of graduation in English, transcript in English, certificate of enrollment in English, career certificate, proof of employment, receipt of tuition payment).
  • By Fax
    • Bring photo identification to public service centers at Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education or administration offices at national/public/private schools and fill out an application form to receive your certificate (certificate of graduation, transcript, certificate of enrollment, career certificate, proof of tuition payment) by fax.
    • ¡Ø Certificates in English can only be issued to applicants visiting the offices in person.

Mail and Parcel Service

  • Mail-out

    Registered mail for students is sent out daily by visiting post office, and parcels are sent out daily by CJ Courier.

      • Mail-out: standardized envelope - \270, non-standardized envelope - \360
      • 2. Registered mail: Charged by weight. Costs about \2,000
      • 3. Parcel: C.O.D. (CJ Courier)
      • 4. No time limit for mail-outs (during office hours)
      • 5. Reception for mails and parcels – office hours for students to pick up their mail and parcels 12:00-13:00, 15:50-16:20, 17:30-18:30, 21:00-21:30

      • 4. Food and drink are not allowed (Food supplement is allowed) – Food and drink will be sent back
      • 5. When sending parcels to school, please make sure the delivery charges for the packages are paid in advance.

Laundry

  • Laundry Service

    Laundry service includes bedding, school uniforms, shirts/blouses, school sweatsuits and towels.

      • 1. Students are required to request laundry service following the laundry service schedule. Laundry should be put in laundry bag and be left in front of dorm rooms when heading to classes in the morning.
      • 2. Accepted Laundry – school uniforms and sweatsuits
      • 3. Laundry service is available once a week.
    • < Attention when using laundry service >
      • Laundry is sorted by the names and numbers that are marked on each laundry bag. Laundry that is placed in another student¡¯s bag will not be cleaned.
      • Students cannot share one laundry bag.
      • Assigned student numbers on the labels of school uniforms and clothes must match with the numbers on the laundry bags.

Cleaning

Cleaning public facilities such as dorm rooms, hallways, washrooms and showers is supervised.

Emergency Patient

In an emergency, students will wait in the SSC and then be sent to hospital. If students are sick during the night, they will be taken care of by the dormitory teacher on duty.
